A sharp change in daytime temperatures looks set to develop within the next day or so, and the overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period, and conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Hot conditions are predicted on at times, with highs reaching into the 30s. Wednesday 12 August looks like the hottest day, with temperatures climbing to 31°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Saturday 22 August, falling to 9°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 35mm over the period.
